Q. What is the cost to join an event?
A. Each event has a fee specified within the event description. For Parent/Child and Team Golf events, this will always be the price per team.
Q. How do I form a team?
A. Forming a team is as easy as registering a single player within your USKG account! Please follow the steps on our Forming a Team page when registering for Parent/Child and Team Golf events.
Q. My child wants to play in a Parent/Child event but I don’t play golf. Can he/she play with someone other than a parent in a Parent/Child event?
A. Yes, for our Parent/Child events your child may team up with anyone over the age of 18.
Q. When registering for a Team Golf event, who pays for the entry fee?
A. The Team Captain will be responsible for paying the tournament entry fee during the registration process. You can register under the Team Registrations in your USKG account.
Q. What format is used for Team Golf events?
A. In our team events we use a 9-hole scramble format. Each player hits a tee shot on each hole, then the team selects one of the shots to play for the next shot. Each player then hits from that position and the process is repeated until the ball is holed.
Q. Can I earn Priority Status through Team Golf events?
A. As we play a 2-person scramble format in Team Golf events, you will not earn any Priority Status from these events. You will have fun teaming up with a friend though!
