Teen World Championship Status Invitation Schedule
The table below shows Teen World Championship invitations sent to U.S. Kids Golf players, based on their current Priority Status. If your player earns a qualifying status for his or her age group during the current spring Local Tour, a Regional Championship, State Invitational, Canadian Invitational, or 2017 European Championship, you will receive invitations at that time. Save this location to check for updates. A player's Priority Status must not expire before July 31, 2017 to be eligible for the 2017 Teen World Championship. A player's age on July 31, 2017 will determine his/her age group for the duration of the event.
NOTE: The grid below indicates the Priority Status groups that have earned an invitation to the 2017 Teen World Championship.
X = Invitations sent to all players with this Status
# = Invitations sent to players who earned Status at the 2016 World Championship or 2017 European Championship
Applications will only be accepted from players 15-18 years old and those living in countries that do not offer qualification opportunities. The deadline to submit applications is July 1st. U.S. Kids Golf will begin allowing entries for those submitting player applications, on a space-available basis, starting May 2nd. Should an applicant’s age group be full, he/she will be put on a waiting list in the order of application received. Applicants will be contacted should they be accepted into the event.
The cost for the Teen World Championship is $345 (includes three tournament rounds, tee gifts, activities and awards). The cost does not include practice round or golf cart rental fees.
Caddie bib names must be ordered at the time of event registration and the cost in non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the event, your name can be mailed to you after completion of the tournament if the tournaments department is notified. All caddie bibs and names will be available for pickup at event registration. Players will not have an opportunity to order a name at the event, but will receive a caddie bib at player registration. Caddie bibs and names are not available for purchase outside of the multi-day events. Caddie bibs must be ordered by July 14th.
Practice Rounds should be scheduled by contacting the golf course directly. Please visit the Course Assignments page for contact information.
